Dr. Nancy Duggan was born in a small town on the south shore of Massachusetts. She attended Westbrook College in Portland, Maine and obtained a degree in dental hygiene. She became a dental hygienist and practiced in Rhode Island while going to school at the University of Rhode Island. She attended Howard University School of Dentistry where she graduated top of her class. In 1983, she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon which is the national dental honor society. Her residency in general practice dentistry was completed at the VA Hospital in Washington DC.
Dr. Duggan has been living in Bowie for the past 30 years. She and her husband were active in the Bowie Boys and Girls club when her sons were younger. Her sons both attended American University where they played division 1 soccer. Nathan continued on to play professional soccer for four years. He is now the Assistant Coach of the Men's Soccer team at the Naval Academy in Annapolis. Both sons were married in 2011 and live in Maryland nearby.
Dr. Duggan's interests include painting, reading, and gardening. She is an avid sports enthusiast. She spends her free time in both North Carolina and Vermont with her family.
Dr. Jennifer Castle was raised in LaMirada, CA (a suburb of Los Angeles). She attended Cal State University -- Fullerton where in 1985 she attained a BA in Biology. Dr. Castle graduated from University of Nebraska college of Dentistry in 1989 where she was a Dean's scholar and a member of the dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon-Alpha-Alpha Chapter.
Following dental school she, along with her husband, joined the United States Navy. She served four years and was stationed in Millington, TN as well as Camp Pendleton, CA. Since her husband is still active duty, the family was transferred to Maryland in 1995.
Dr. Castle is married to her husband of 25 years and has three daughters. The oldest is an accountant who graduated from University of Maryland, College Park. The second is currently a sophomore at the University of Maryland, College Park, and the third is a freshman at South River High School.
Dr. Castle's hobbies include continuing education, gardening, sewing, and crafting.
Dr. Pareen Dholoo was born in England and moved to the U.S. when she was two years old. She grew up in MD with her two sisters and brother. Since graduating from University of MD Dental College in 2006, she has worked in community-based private practices.
Dr. Dholoo is an avid hiker who enjoys weight training, yoga, and traveling. Her travel expeditions have included Iceland, Nevis, Singapore, Iran, France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Corsica, Dubai, India, Mexico, Peru, and Cuba! Her three-year-old nephew amazes her every day; she spends a lot of time entertaining him (and vice versa!).
Dr. Dholoo also works with "Big Smiles," providing dental treatment to children in public schools all over Maryland.
